Published information

Assessment framework: the FAQs page states that after an application is submitted, "We will then assess your resources and training materials to ensure they meet the CPD framework standards." The What do we cover page states that the team reviews CPD training courses, workshops, seminars, conferences and events "to make sure they comply with the industry standards". We looked for the framework or standards themselves — a published set of criteria against which activities are assessed — on the home, About Us, What do we cover, Join EliteMark, FAQs, terms and privacy pages, and did not find them.

Pricing: the Join EliteMark page publishes five membership tiers banded by number of CPD activities — Bronze, 1–9 activities, £60.00 per year; Silver, 10–29 activities, £100.00 per year or £10.00 per month; Gold, 30–49 activities, £150.00 per year or £15.00 per month; Platinum, 50–99 activities, £180.00 per year or £18.50 per month; Corporate, 100+ activities, £300.00 per year or £30.00 per month. The page states that payments are taken in GBP. The same prices appear in the "Apply Online" form on the Contact Us page.

Terms: a terms and conditions page is published and is linked from the pricing table on the Join EliteMark page. The published terms govern use of the website and cover access, intellectual property in site content, limitation of liability, acceptable use, linking, severability and governing law, together with a disclaimer notice referring to providers who do not renew their membership. The page states that these terms refer to further terms, described as "Our Terms and Conditions for EliteMark™ CPD certification". We looked for those accreditation-service terms — covering duration, renewal, withdrawal, logo use, intellectual property in submitted materials or refunds — and did not find them published or linked on the pages reviewed.

Privacy and complaints: a privacy policy is published and states that it was last updated in April 2025. It includes a section headed "COMPLAINTS" dealing with dissatisfaction about the processing of personal data, directing such complaints to [email protected] and to the Information Commissioner's Office. We looked for a complaints policy covering the accreditation service on the home, About Us, Join EliteMark, FAQs, Contact Us, terms and privacy pages, and did not find one.

Website status: every page reviewed was reachable and served over HTTPS on 23 July 2026. The privacy policy states that the website uses HTTPS.

Accreditation practice: the Join EliteMark page publishes a five-step process — complete an application; submit supporting information; the team reviews the application; receive EliteMark accreditation; promote the quality mark. The FAQs page publishes a four-step version and states that where standards are not met, "we will provide detailed feedback" and, once amendments are made, "we will reevaluate the activity and issue approval". We looked for a published statement that each course or activity is assessed individually against the framework, and did not find one on the pages reviewed.

Verification: the Join EliteMark page lists "Online Listing" among membership benefits. We looked for a published list of accredited providers or activities, a lookup facility, and a statement that accredited activities carry a unique accreditation number, on the home, About Us, What do we cover, Join EliteMark, Sectors, FAQs and Contact Us pages, and did not find any of these.

Review and renewal: the Join EliteMark page lists "Annual Review" among membership benefits. Membership fees on the same page are quoted annually. We looked for a published statement of what is reviewed at that point and against what standards, and did not find one on the pages reviewed.

Data protection registration: we attempted to search the ICO register of data protection fee payers. The register's search form could not be submitted in this review and no entry for the organisation was returned by web search. The ICO registration position was not established. See flags.

Contextual: the Sectors page lists 31 sectors.
