Connected interests: the organisation sells its own training-related products through the same website on which it offers accreditation to third-party training providers. The shop page lists training manual templates, course plan templates, business plan templates, policy packs, certificate templates, badges, embossing wafers, wax seals and window stickers. The same website offers the Level 3 Award in Education and Training at £199.99 and describes the organisation as a "Recognised TQUK Centre", giving a TQUK Centre Number of 19750565473. The accreditation requirements published on the home page state that applicants must provide a recognised teaching qualification "such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or an equivalent qualification". We looked for a published statement addressing how the accreditation service is separated from the organisation's own training and product sales, and for published undertakings on the confidentiality of materials submitted for assessment. Neither was found on the pages reviewed.

The published terms and conditions, under the heading Purchase of Services, direct enquiries about services to "Beauty Academy Manuals". We looked for a statement on the website identifying that entity, or explaining its relationship to Course Accreditation, and did not find one on the pages reviewed.

We did not establish from the pages reviewed whether the entity named in the published terms is the company registered under number 14246255.

We compared the officer records of the two companies on the public register. Companies House records two officers and no resignations for BEAUTY ACADEMY MANUALS LTD, both directors appointed on 20 July 2022. It records two officers and one resignation for COURSE ACCREDITATION LTD: one director appointed on 14 December 2025 and one director appointed on 30 November 2022 and resigned on 1 March 2026. Pricing: published. The home page and FAQ pop-up state access from £20 per month or £200 per year. The beauty subscription page lists an annual subscription at £200.00 per year and a monthly subscription at £20.00 charged on the 20th of each month. The AET Award page lists £199.99. The terms state an administrative late payment fee of £5.00 per failed renewal attempt. The refund policy states a £50.00 administration fee for transfers after the first accepted transfer request.

Individual assessment: stated. The home page states that submitted materials are reviewed by the organisation's team. The FAQ states that each individual document is assessed and asks members to allow up to five working days per document. The CPD Points page states that each course or programme submitted for accreditation is reviewed individually.

Unique accreditation number and verification: stated. The beauty subscription page lists an official academy certificate with an accreditation number among the subscription inclusions. The public directory at https://courseaccreditation.com/directory/ is searchable by category and postcode and displayed "194 + Businesses found" across 17 pages when accessed. Directory entries are for providers. The entry we opened displays an Accreditation Number (100376) and a Date of Accreditation (20 June 2025), with course names given in free text and no separate accreditation number shown against each course.

Review and renewal: we looked for a statement that accredited content is reviewed on a defined cycle. The terms state that accreditation is valid only while a subscription is active, that all accreditation status ceases on cancellation or lapse, and that on reinstatement each item must be resubmitted, formally reviewed and expressly approved. No stated review cycle for accredited content was found on the pages reviewed.
