We looked across the home, About Us, Accreditation Process, Our Plans, Contact Us, FAQ and Application Form pages for the name of the legal entity operating the website and for a company registration number. No legal entity is named and no company registration number is displayed on those pages. The site trades as "CPD Direct", and the footer carries the line "Copyright © 2026 CPD DIRECT".

A name search on the Companies House register surfaced more than one company of closely similar name. None of those entries is linked to cpddirect.org by any public source we accessed, and the website does not state which entity, if any, operates it. We have therefore not attributed the website to any registered company. The specific register entries surfaced are recorded in the flags for human review.

We looked on the Contact Us, About Us, home and FAQ pages for a postal address, a telephone number, an email address, and a named individual identified as a contact for complaints or disputes.

Two email addresses are published: [email protected] and [email protected] (Contact Us page). No postal address is written on the pages reviewed. The Contact Us page embeds a map centred on the London Eye in London, rather than a stated business address. No telephone number was found on the pages reviewed; the About Us and FAQ pages refer to contacting the organisation "via email, phone, or through our online contact form" without publishing a number. No individual is named as a contact on the pages reviewed.

Accreditation criteria: We looked for the criteria or framework the organisation assesses against. The FAQ states that a team "evaluates each activity based on predefined criteria", and the Accreditation Process page describes a four-stage process (Application Submission, Review and Evaluation, Accreditation Decision, Monitoring and Compliance). The criteria themselves are not published on the pages reviewed.

Individual assessment: The Accreditation Process page states that a provider submits an application for a CPD activity, including its objectives, content, target audience, delivery method and assessment criteria, and that the activity is then reviewed. The FAQ states that each activity is evaluated. This records what the website states about its process.

Review cycle: The Accreditation Process page states that the accreditation body "may conduct periodic monitoring". The Our Plans page shows annual plans with an annual renewal fee. We looked for a defined review cycle for accredited content and did not find one stated on the pages reviewed.

Unique number and verification: We looked for a statement that accredited activities carry a unique accreditation number, and for a public way to verify a specific accredited activity. Neither was found on the pages reviewed. The Our Plans page lists "Free listing on our site" as a plan benefit; we did not find a public list or verification facility for specific accredited courses on the pages reviewed.
