Published information

Assessment framework. The IEAC Standards page links five downloadable accreditation standards documents, covering colleges, language schools and faith-based institutions; online education providers; schools; universities and higher education; and technical and vocational education and training. The policies and procedures page links a further document titled "ESG Accreditation Standards". We opened the general standards file, the university standards file and the ESG standards file.

Pricing. The FAQ page publishes an application fee of £500, an inspection fee stated as dependent on the size and nature of the institution and the country in which it is based and ranging from £2,000 to £10,000, and states that annual licence fees are charged once accreditation is awarded. We looked for a published figure for the annual licence fee, and did not find one on the FAQ, payment, payment terms or accreditation pages reviewed.

Terms. A terms of use page is published governing website access and use. A payment terms page is published covering fees for accreditation and membership, which states: "There is no refund available for any reason whatsoever." A disclaimer page and a copyright page are also published.

Privacy and complaints. A data protection policy is published as a web page, and a data protection policy document is linked for download from the policies and procedures page. A complaints policy is published, setting out the email route for lodging a complaint, the investigation process and the provision of a written response, together with a downloadable complaint form. An appeals procedure and an online appeal form are published.

Website. The site is served over HTTPS. All pages listed in the sources below loaded when accessed. Placeholder text beginning "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet" appears beneath the page heading on the standards, payment, terms of use, data protection, complaints, appeals, disclaimer, legal, about, FAQ, policies and procedures, accreditation process, accreditation with IEAC and partners pages. On the about page, the bullet under the sub-heading on establishing standards ends with an instruction to the page author beginning "Please add".

Individual assessment. The FAQ page states: "IEAC accredits an institution as a whole, not the individual courses". The same page and the programmatic accreditation page state that a separate programmatic accreditation route evaluates specific academic programmes.

Verification. The institutions accredited page publishes a paginated list of institutions across twenty pages, giving for each entry the institution name, accreditation category, an overall star rating where one is shown, and a reference number in the format IEAC-ACC-2024-017, IEAC-MEM-2025-080 or IEAC-CAN-2026-030. Some entries carry a link to an institution profile page. The page states that inspection reports are available to the public but that the permission of the institution is sought before release, and links to a request form.

Review and renewal. The accreditation with IEAC page states: "Accreditation is generally granted for a 4-year period", that accredited institutions are reviewed every four years, and that biennial reports are submitted in the interim.

Data protection registration. The ICO register of fee payers records IEAC LIMITED under registration reference ZB878897, registered 22 March 2025, expiring 21 March 2027, payment tier Tier 1, at 2nd Floor College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, HA4 7AE.
